HKDSE Seminar – Kowloon City District

The DSE lecture in Kowloon City District was organized by the Outstanding Youth Persons’ Association and the Social Seed Charity Association, with La Salle College as co-organizer. We were honored to invite three distinguished guests:

1. Professor Jacky Tang, Chairman of the Outstanding Youth Persons’ Association
2. Dr. Calvin Mak, Ten Outstanding Young Person in Hong Kong (2022)
3. Mr. Steven Pun, Ten Outstanding Young Person in Hong Kong (2022)

Professor Jacky Tang shared his personal journey through exams and subject selection, providing deep insights into the current developments in the business field.

Dr. Calvin Mak, a top student with ten As in the HKCEE and an alumnus of La Salle College, thoughtfully guided younger students on effective learning and thinking methods, emphasizing how to make the best use of time and resources.

Mr. Steven Pun recounted his entrepreneurial journey, illustrating how he transformed from an average graduate into a successful entrepreneur through hard work and perseverance.

During the Q&A session, the students actively engaged with the guests, and after the lecture, they continued to interact with them in hopes of gaining further learning opportunities.
